Back in the 70's there was a group called Solar System who gigged around Kent.

Lineup:

  • Guitar: Steve Luxton
  • Keyboards: Colin Smith
  • Vocals: Les Peel
  • Drums: Chris Daughters/Ian Milton/Ian Cheswright

Could be seen at The Golden Arrow in Folkestone on a regular basis.

From Bob Jenson (Colin Smith's cousin and occasional guest vocalist).
Ian Milton was the bass player.He had previously played with Whispering Wind.
Mick Milton was the drummer at one time as was Bob Matthews.
Colin Smith and Bob Matthews later formed Evening Breeze who played regularly on Folkestone Bandstand.
